2008 bear trophys

It was another fine season with all but one hunter shooting bears.  The one hunter that

 didn't shoot had opportunitiesbut was an experienced hunter that was holding out for a big boar and

didn't see what he wanted.

 As luck would have it we killed two bruisers the following week out of stands that he had hunted.

WEEK 1

Josh McDaniel from Texas started us out with a fine P & Y boar

Todd Cast from Texas followed with a fine blond boar.

Dan Daley from Colorado with a nice boar.

WEEK 2

The second week we had a great group of fathers and sons from East Texas.  It was a great hunt.

On the first evening Shea Smith and Ron Hughes started it out right with two 19" + P & Y boars.

After these two bruisers were taken it got a little slow the rest of the week but perfect conditions

on Friday evening resulted in a first.  5 bears taken in one evening!
